I tried it and it is amazingly comfortable and gives the right boost to arise from a chair. The power lift is adjustable with 5 weight settings.

It weighs 8 lbs, there is no handling charge added in this fee. No electric or batteries needed. My husband Hans't been able to use it, one must have enough strength to sit on the lift properly.

The power cylinder is referred to as a piston, I would call it a hydraulic cylinder, for those of you that are more familiar with that term.
